Tiptree is a large village (population 8500) near Colchester, Essex. It is famous for its jam factory which was established by a godly man, Arthur Charles Wilkin in 1885. God blessed Arthur Charles and his jam was exported all over the world. We are convinced that ‘fruit to the world’ is Tiptree’s redemptive gift.
Tiptree Community Church was formed in October 2015 from a small group of Christians who wanted to meet together on a Sunday morning. We have a variable programme, including Cafe Church, prayer, communion, worship and teaching, and also benefit from visiting speakers and musicians. Our emphasis is to encourage everyone to engage in Christian discipleship in a friendly and welcoming environment.
The best way to find out more about us is to come and see – we meet at 10.30 am each Sunday in the small hall at the Community Centre.
